FORGIVENESS IS WHEN LIFE BEGINS. Accepting this gift from Jesus is our moment of conception. As "forgiven people," we eventually mature and learn to forgive others. (Matthew 6:12)

This is a foundational truth for every Christian—our bedrock—that acknowledges and embraces that all life springs from Jesus' forgiveness.

WHO ARE WE?
My name is Vin. I am the founding Chaplain of www.4Given.me. This ministry is designed to help others find rest from their struggles. How? The simple answer is Christ. Let's change our past misbehaviors and bad decisions by seeking another way forward. Our team has experience in addiction recovery—including drugs, alcohol, codependency, gambling, food, anger, and just about anything else you can think of. We can help because we can relate.

We identify opportunities that need greater attention while encouraging growth in areas of excellence. Our services can be scaled for both the individual or group setting. Forgiveness is a difficult endeavor for many. It is an obstacle that cannot be overcome with brute force because it only responds to a humble heart. We help people overcome their doubts and anxieties and fears through the sharing the Gospel message. Our services include helping others to identify behavioral obstacles while encouraging positive lifestyle modifications that are unique to each individual.

Everyone is different, but the solution is same. The goal is to find a path tailored for each person's unique differences so they can seek the solution for themselves. Everyone desires peace and joy—which is found through Christ—but too many people have unrealistic expectations that life will continue blissfully after salvation. This is wrong thinking. Life will still be challenging—maybe even more challenging than before—but now you are equipped to find peace in the storm and find joy through your grief and sorrow.

Why is forgiveness so important? Because grudges hold people back—separating us from one another. Forgiveness takes the focus away from the past and opens opportunities for the future.

Chaplain services are free. Any Chaplain can talk over a pot of coffee or a meal, in-person or over the phone, or by text or email. Often, a Chaplain can go wherever they are needed and there are many ways to eliminate expenses as an obstacle. Think of it as a crowdfunded ministry...people you have never met will chip-in and support this ministry so that you don't have to. This is great, since many struggling people might not have the resources to get help—but we won't let that stop God's work.

If you want to share your testimony with others on www.4Given.me, contact us and we will be happy to walk you through it. Sharing testimonies of forgiving others, personal salvation, blessings in your life, or any other act of God that has touched your life makes it possible for others to have testimonies of their own.

If you need a Chaplain in your life or know someone who can benefit from having a Chaplain in their own life, PLEASE CONTACT US for more information and to schedule an appointment.

If you would like to partner with the www.4Given.me team of Chaplains, please reach out to us and so we can have fellowship and share the vision of this ministry in person.

ABOUT THE LOGO

The site logo is a cursive "f" handdrawn in such a way that it forms a double-ichthus, or Christian "fish." The letter "f" represents forgiveness on many levels. It is the purpose of this site to highlight Jesus' forgiveness of us—which breathes new life into us and makes us born again—and our attempts to duplicate that forgiveness towards others.

For more information about the ichthus, go here:
Early Church History—Ichthus/Christian Fish
That site does a great deep-dive on what the Greek acronym for fish represents while including some early Church history I never knew about.

    Fist-Pumping Praise!

👊🤘 A guest post reflecting on Psalm 33- Why are people raising their arms in church? Have you ever been to church Sunday morning during worship and felt like you wanted to dance in the aisle or raise your arms like you were at a rock concert or on top of a mountain, clapping your hands and shouting loudly? But then you look around at everyone else and you think, “Oh man, if I start doing that then they’re just going to say I’m totally nuts.” Well, Psalm 33 suggests that this type of behavior, when moved by God, actually isn’t crazy, it’s “befitting” (Psalm 33:1). A shout for joy…
